Description
Potassium Chloride, also known as Klotrix, Chlorvescent, Potavescent, Enseal, Kalitabs, Kaochlor, Pfklor, and Rekawan. It appears as white or colorless crystals, granules, or powder, is strongly saline in taste, and is freely soluble in Water at ambient conditions. It is produced in large quantities from mined potash ores and salt-containing surface waters. Nearly 5% of its worldwide production is utilized as an industrial chemical, mainly for the production of Potassium Hydroxide and Chlorine via electrolysis.
