Ammonium Bicarbonate, also known as Ammonium Hydrogen Carbonate and Mono Ammonium Carbonate, is an inorganic compound having chemical formula NH4HCO3 or CH5NO3 . It appears as a colorless solid that dissolves in water at room temperature. It degrades readily to carbon dioxide, water, and ammonia. Unlike Sodium Bicarbonate, which leaves a residue of alkaline Sodium Carbonate, Ammonium Bicarbonate leaves no residue upon decomposition by heat. Chemically pure or Laboratory Reagents are often Lab Grade chemicals that do not meet any recognized quality or purity requirements like the ACS Grade, the USP Grade, and the FCC Grade, despite their acceptable purity. Our Lab Grade chemicals are highly pure in terms of heavy metal impurities. Lab Alley is selling its high-quality Ammonium Bicarbonate, Lab Grade, in a convenient packing of 500 Grams in the United States of America (USA). This Lab Alley product is ideal for industrial and commercial applications because of its high purity.
